The state of mind and philosophy behind Pilates is to control muscle and physicality through mind control, concentration and mental state.
Our Pilates Instructors and Pilates Trainers emphasise concentration as the primary importance throughout the movement we attempt to have your body carry out. One must understand where each part of the body is positioned and its relevance to other parts of the body. As you work more and more with our fitness and Pilates experts, you will learn how to keep a sound mind and body, through moving fluidly and seamlessly through the Pilates exercises.
Centering, as the experts call it, comprises the core muscles in your body, which are in the abdominal, mid and lower back, along with hips and bum. This centre core provides the power behind many of the Pilates movements. We will start your Pilates personal training here and move you forward into the advanced realm of Pilates, both in the physical realm and mental state.
