Get Fit at Home was established by Ed Shanaphy and Sophie Bentham Wood in 2006. Ed, having been at the highest levels of professional tennis and himself a qualified personal trainer, and Sophie, who worked with some of the biggest names in sports marketing and is also a fully-qualified personal trainer, decided to put together a business that specializes in at-home fitness and in-home personal training.
With a board of personal fitness advisors in the UK and the USA, and more than 300 personal trainers and fitness professionals as part of our team, Get Fit at Home caters to everyone from beginners to advanced athletes. We match the ideal personal trainer with your personal needs and requirements. From personal training and weight management, to kettlebell training and interval training, we have the experts who can work with you and achieve just what you are looking for.
Our Values
We strive to employ the best fitness professionals in the industry. By attending personal fitness conventions to find excellent trainers for our team, and through personal recommendations, we have never advertised for a personal trainer. Each of our personal trainers is hand-selected and interviewed, and is fully certified and insured for their respective disciplines.
We believe that all our trainers should lead a healthy and active lifestyle themselves. "We are what we eat" is a motto we believe, and we like to "practice what we preach!" All of our team members have full references on file and are at the top of their profession.
Individual Service
We endeavor to create a first-class fitness experience with each and every client we work with. Our level of mobile, one-to-one personal training service along with our 24-hour customer support from our head offices, are unrivalled anywhere in the fitness industry. From pre- and post-natal exercise, to group classes, to wellness and lifestyle coaching, we here at Get Fit at Home are the right match for you.
